ANDREW R. MCBRIDE is an associate in the Atlanta office of Smith, Currie & Hancock LLP. He was born in Whitby, England. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers College, Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey in 1992 and his Juris Doctorate degree from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia in 1996.
Andrew has handled a variety of construction claims and disputes representing owners, contractors, subcontractors, and surety companies in mediation, arbitration and litigation involving such projects as prisons, hospitals, high-rise condominiums, shopping centers, movie theatres, schools, and hotels, among others. In addition, Andrew has provided assistance to construction clients in negotiation and drafting of contracts; in resolving issues relating to or arising out of public bidding, including protests; and in project administration, including providing counsel on distressed projects.
